Talksport is an English radio station that sports-related content 24 hours a day. It was launched on February 14, 1995 as TalkRadio, but it was later rebranded to its current name on January 17, 2000. Talksport is owned by the Wireless Group, a subsidiary of News Corp, which is a property of Rupert Murdoch.

Talksport’s programming has changed over the years, but it has managed to set a standard for proper sports coverage. In the past, Talksport has covered live sports such as football, rugby, cricket, horse racing, darts, golf, and the NFL. Added to their live sports coverage, Talksport has complemented its programming with discussion shows, and phone-ins. Talksport has expanded its sports coverage by offering content in Spanish and Mandarin outside the UK and Ireland, which represents its main target audience.

Speaking about football, Talksport has turned into a reference when it comes to Premier League games.
