M6 is a French television channel owned and operated by the M6 Group. It is also known as Metropole Television, and it was launched on March 1, 1987. M6 has seven sister channels, and is also linked to magazines, movie production companies, media-related firms, and more.
M6 is seen as a general entertainment channel, with most of its programming aimed at a younger audience such as teenagers and young adults. Other shows aired by the network have included magazines shows, TV movies, children’s shows, news , and sports.
When it comes to sports, M6 kicked off their offer during the 1998 FIFA World Cup, with an unsuccessful show called 0% Football.
